SALES MANAGER - For the HTC Group
Our current Sales Manager, Henrik Rosencrantz, is moving to our subsidiary in Knoxville in the USA and we are therefore seeking a replacement for him.
You will be located at our office in Söderköping in south-east Sweden. You will be responsible for all of our marketing and sales in the Swedish and international marketplaces. This means you will be responsible for a team of 26 people and a sales volume of approximately SEK 300 million. You will report directly to the Managing Director of the company and be part of the management team. We would like to see a further expansion of our sales organisation in the coming years.
You will be expected to travel for one to two weeks every month. You will spend the rest of your time leading and coaching our Business Area managers, conducting contractual negotiations and managing business operations.
You take a serious interest in developing and motivating your colleagues. You are used to working with a long-term perspective and are very goal-oriented.
Although we already have a leading international presence, our company still has tremendous potential for further growth. As Sales Manager, your key task will therefore be the development of our sales activities. You will accomplish this by identifying and supporting international partners and distributors, as well as our subsidiaries in the USA, Germany, the UK and France too later on in the autumn. The end customers for our floor concept solutions operate in a range of sectors, including facility management, major industries, logistics companies, department stores and public offices. Our hardware customers are operating and flooring contractors and rental chains.
Today, you are a successful sales manager or exports manager, working with a team of staff who report to you directly, at the parent company of a group of companies. You have basic secondary education plus a degree from IHM business school or an equivalent approved qualification. You are more of a coach than a manager and have experience of responsibility for personnel. We are looking for someone with an unassuming and modest personality.
You have experience of international sales in growth companies and also have a background in solution selling.
You are computer literate with a thorough knowledge of MS Office suite and it would be beneficial if you have worked with a CRM system.
We expect you to speak and write English fluently.
Communication skills in German and French would be an asset.
