“Everything is going as planned”
The extension work started only six weeks ago, and it’s fascinating to see the quick development.
The changes have been obvious the last week, a new drive-up is taking form with streetlamps next to it, and a new fence has been drawn around the building and the construction site.
- It’s all according to the schedule; we are planning to have a dense building this New Year and everything is expected to be finished in Mars or April next year, says Karl Thysell, responsible for the building extension at HTC.
The floors are poured in the beginning of November, and of course there will be HTC Superfloor™ in both offices and factory. The office will have black concrete with red stone and the factory a more traditional HTC Superfloor™.
The rebuilding will mean a more evident border between the warehouse and the production area.
- There will be a separate area where our customers can pick up their goods and maybe have a cup of coffee while they wait, Karl continues.
The extension will consist of both office and factory. Sales and administration will stay where they are, while marketing, buying department, development and the IT manager will be housed in the new part.
- The new parts of the building will also have sleeping accommodations, for those working at HTC that doesn’t live nearby.
